A Tupelo man was arrested after he allegedly stole a vehicle and then sold it for scrap. The vehicle was reported stolen on October 25.

Tupelo police said the vehicle, taken from a home on North Gloster Street, was identified and later discovered to have been sold for scrap.

Following an investigation, 58-year-old Bobby W. Green was arrested on November 14 and charged with Grand Larceny: Taking of a Motor Vehicle. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Green, who was already out on a felony bond, to be held without bond during his court appearance on November 15.

The charges against Green will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further consideration.
