A 22-year-old Tupelo man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at the Express Shop located at 2611 South Eason Blvd. On November 11, 2024, officers responded to the scene after the business reported a forced entry and theft of multiple items. Surveillance footage provided by the business helped identify the suspect.
Following an investigation, Caelen E. Triplett was arrested on November 14 and charged with Burglary of a Commercial Building.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen set Triplett’s bond at $5,000 on November 15. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further action.
