Early on November 1, Tupelo Police arrested 26-year-old Danielle B. Walters, of Booneville, after responding to a report of an individual attempting to steal items from a porch on East Bristow Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Walters in possession of wallets and ID cards belonging to other individuals.
Further investigation revealed that these items had been stolen from vehicles and homes in the area. Walters was initially detained on misdemeanor charges, but later charged with Burglary of a Dwelling and Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Evans set Walters’ bond at $20,000, and her case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
