The Jackson Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed yesterday on Bowers Street.
A man named Tristan Kimes was found deceased at the scene.
Detective Tommie Brown confirmed that Tristan Kimes was arrested in October of 2022 after a 9-year-old girl was accidentally shot and killed by another 9 year old at Graystone Apartments in Jackson.
This case is under investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
