The Tupelo Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a burglary at Big Lenny’s Storage on Washington Street. On October 17, officers responded to reports of a break-in at the storage facility, where multiple items were reported stolen from a storage unit.
Surveillance footage provided by the business helped officers identify a possible suspect. Following an investigation, 39-year-old Christopher R. Morgan of Tupelo was arrested on October 22, and charged with Burglary of a Commercial Building.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered that Morgan be held without bond.
The case will now be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further review.
