David Walker, a Clay County man, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated DUI in connection with the death of his girlfriend.
According to WTVA, prosecutors stated that Walker was driving under the influence in August 2020 when the fatal crash occurred.
His girlfriend, Shelia Griffin, who was a passenger in the vehicle, died as a result of the accident.
Walker will now serve time for his role in the incident that claimed Griffin’s life.
