Choctaw County has issued a county-wide burn ban on Friday, Oct. 18.
In the season of bonfires and smores, as temperatures cool down, you must refrain from them for the time being!
This ban also includes Ackerman, Mississippi.
Mississippi Forestry Commission has offered a guide to burn bans on their website.
