Investigators have arrested Kristy Tillman for aggravated domestic violence in connection with a shooting that occurred last Friday on County Road 1411. Tillman appeared before Justice Court Judge Brian McLaughlin this afternoon, where her bond was denied due to her prior felony status.
The shooting victim, identified as Warren Conner, was found with a gunshot wound to the side behind a mobile home. Emergency responders received a 911 call around 8:20 PM and arrived to find Conner injured. He was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in serious condition in the intensive care unit. Details regarding the severity of his injuries have not been disclosed.
Authorities have confirmed that one individual was taken into custody in relation to the shooting, but further details about the detainee and the circumstances leading to the incident have not been released. Sheriff Chancelor stated that the investigation is ongoing and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
The incident has raised concerns in the community, as authorities continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
