Friday morning at around 12:30 am, JPD responded to 3435 Rainey Road regarding two pedestrians who had been struck by a vehicle.
The victims of the accident were two 15-year-old female juveniles. One of the victims died from her injuries, the second victim was transported by AMR to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to JPD headquarters where he was questioned. At this time no charges have been filed.
