Interstate 55 is closed to northbound traffic between the 206 Grenada exit and the 208 Papermill exit due to an 18-wheeler crash and fire.
Grenada Police Department, Grenada Fire Department, Grenada Sheriff’s Office, Mississippi Highway Patrol, and several county fire departments are on the scene.
Drivers are advised to find alternate routes while emergency crews work to resolve the situation.
