UPDATE: The two individuals who were killed have been identified as Derrick Coleman and Jasvir Singh.
Derrick Coleman is the estranged husband of missing woman Latasha Crump.
Latasha Crump went missing July 18, 2023 from her home on Hidden Valley Lane in Jackson.

According to Jackson Police, five people total were shot at a gas station on the corner of McDowell Road and Suncrest Drive Sunday afternoon.
Two of those who were shot have died.
The incident happened at 2:51 p.m.
Police said five people were shot in the parking lot of the Shell gas station, and then one more person walked up to the scene and was also shot.
The vehicle in question is a black Honda Accord, distinguished by tinted windows on all sides.
Notably, the rear window tint appears damaged, likely due to poor installation. Officers are advised to exercise extreme caution if they encounter this vehicle before initiating any contact.
We are working to get details on what led to the shooting and the identities of those who were killed.
There is no other suspect information at this time.
