On April 15th, the Oxford Police Department took a report of sexual assault.
After investigation, 26-year-old Brandon Levon Gates, from Tupelo, was arrested and charged with Sexual Battery.
Gates was taken before a Municipal Court judge for an initial bond hearing and issued a $50,000 bond.
