On May 26, deputies from the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department responded to an emergency call in the Pattison area regarding a gunshot wound victim.
The incident reportedly followed a verbal altercation.
Upon investigation, authorities identified the suspect as James Goods. Mr. Goods has been arrested and is facing charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The victim’s condition has not been released.
