On April 29, the Tupelo Police Department served a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant on 29-year-old Dejuan O. Woodard (from Shannon) for Possession of Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
This warrant is pertaining to a 2022 case in which the suspect, who was previously convicted of a felony, was found to be in possession of a firearm.
Woodard was ordered to be held without bond by Lee County Circuit Court at the time the capias was issued. This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court
