The Mississippi Highway Patrol informed the public that they will be assisting Homeland Security in a training exercise today and tomorrow.
The exercise will occur in Hinds, Rankin, Smith, Jasper, and Jones Counties.
MHP said that you may notice vehicles accompanied by a trooper making frequent stops in these counties.
Some people participating in the exercise may be wearing full chemical protective gear.
Remember that this is only an exercise.
