The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is conducting a full-scale HAZMAT Exercise on April 19, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Mississippi State Fire Academy in Pearl. In collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies, the exercise aims to evaluate first responders’ readiness for hazardous materials incidents.
Taking place at the State Fire Academy on 1 Fire Academy Way in Pearl, the exercise will simulate real-life scenarios to test emergency response protocols. Media are invited to cover the event, arriving by 8:30 a.m. for seamless access.
