Oxford Men Arrested For Possession Of Stolen Firearm

On March 30, the Oxford Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Jackson Avenue for a DUI investigation.

During the stop, the officer was informed of guns in the vehicle, that were later identified as stolen.

24-year-old Kobe Dewayne Bady of Tupelo, MS, and 25-year-old Qwantavious Deshun Goree, of Shannon, MS were both charged with possession of a stolen firearm.

Bady and Goree were each taken before a Municipal Court judge for an initial bond hearing and each received a $15,000 bond.
