The Grenada County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man for murder.
Stanley Trent Latham was named the suspect after a woman was found shot multiple times Friday night at 11:15 p.m.
Officers responded to Grant Road in reference to a woman possibly being shot and not breathing.
When deputies arrived, they found Talicia Latham deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. An autopsy is being done at the State Crime Lab.
Through the course of the investigation, a murder warrant was issued for Stanley Trent Latham. He was taken into custody over the weekend.
