On December 19, officers with the Tupelo Police Department took a report about a man sending inappropriate messages to an underage victim.
On February 2, 30-year-old Octavious S. Stevens (from Okolona) was arrested and charged with two counts of Enticement of a Child.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Stevens to be held on a $200,000 bond.
Stevens was also given a $30,000 bond for an unrelated charge of Possession of Schedule II Narcotics.
At the time of his arrest, it was discovered that Stevens had an active felony warrant with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
