UPDATE: On January 29, Gorrell is also being charged with Directing or causing a minor to commit a felony and tampering with physical evidence. His bond has been set at $2,050,000.

The Brandon Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that happened at 26 Rockford Court in Brandon.
At approximately 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 27, the Brandon Police Department received a phone call regarding an accidental death at the Rockford Court address. When officers arrived, they became suspicious about the actual cause of death. Investigators determined the female victim appeared to have died from a gunshot wound.
She was identified as 38-year-old Carri Gorrell.
The victim’s husband 35-year-old Tyler Gorrell has been arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance and Murder.
