Jackson police are investigating a shooting that happened at approximately 8:30 pm on Ellis Avenue near Hwy 80.
Two victims were shot inside of a black Lexus.
Police said that one victim died from his injuries at the scene.
The identity of the man who died is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
