According to Lauderdale County Coroner Clay Cobler, a captain who works at East Mississippi Correctional Facility was shot in the head by one of his own employees.
He has not yet been identified, but he works at the facility.
Lauderdale County Coroner Cobler said the captain was in the parking lot when he was shot and killed.
