On November 4 at approximately 12:11 p.m. Copiah County Deputies responded to the area of South Harmony Road near Hazlehurst in reference to a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found the body of 59-year-old Milton Jones who had apparently died from a single gunshot wound.
Officers arrested his brother, 63-year-old Clyde Jones, at the scene.
This investigation is ongoing and appears to have stemmed from a family disturbance.
Clyde Jones is currently being held at the Copiah County Detention Center without bond.
