A person was found hanging between two billboards in Columbus, covered by a white sheet, according to WTVA.
According to the Tupelo TV station, the body has been removed.
According to Columbus Police Chief Joseph Daughtry, police started to get calls around 1 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities have said it’s unclear if the situation was a suicide or an accident. We have reached out to Daughtry to find out if that means foul play has been ruled out.
