The trial of a man accused of shooting a 14-year-old teen over a bicycle begins today.
Stacy Liddell is accused of the death of Roderick Johnson Jr. on April 21, 2019.
Prosecutors told a reporter at WLBT that one of Johnson’s friends took the bicycle from Liddell’s yard. The 43-year-old allegedly chased the group down the street and then open fired at the group. Johnson died after he was shot in the back.
Stacy Liddell was indicted back in July of 2019 for capital murder.
