Authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead in a backyard on Forest Avenue Thursday morning.
According to the Jackson Police Department, officers from Precinct 3 responded to a home in the 3000 block of Forest Avenue at approximately 8:30 a.m. on February 20.
Upon arrival, they discovered the body of an unidentified female lying in the backyard.
The coroner was called to the scene to assess the situation, and the case is currently classified as death-pending. This means that further investigation is needed to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
