According to Capt. Paul Holley with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, a student from Northwest Rankin High School was arrested for making threats on Instagram.
The sheriff’s department said that it was brought to their attention by the Rankin County school district.
The individual, a minor, was taken into custody and was taken before Youth Court Judge Tom Broom.
