The Lauderdale County Animal Control Shelter is asking the community for help with a basic but important supply: newspapers.
According to Friends of the Lauderdale County Animal Control Shelter, the facility is in urgent need of newspaper donations and is hoping to connect with someone who may have access to a large supply.
The shelter said it goes through newspapers quickly and uses them as part of the daily care of animals at the facility.
Anyone able to donate can bring newspapers to the Lauderdale County Animal Control Shelter at 6100 Rocky Lane in Marion, behind Marion Town Hall.
The shelter is encouraging residents, businesses or organizations with extra newspapers to consider donating them.
