LAFAYETTE COUNTY — A 22-year-old was arrested after investigators received information that sexually explicit material involving a minor was possibly being disseminated, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators received the information Sept. 24 and conducted an investigation into the matter, the Sheriff’s Office said.
A warrant was obtained that same day for Blakely Burkeen, 22, on a charge of possession of child pornography. Burkeen was taken into custody Sept. 24 in Lafayette County.
Burkeen appeared before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge Saturday, Sept. 26, and was issued a $75,000 bond, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
