LAFAYETTE COUNTY – The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office is collecting donations for a 20-year-old woman who remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a crash that killed her twin sister.
Zoe and Chloe Johnson, both 20, were twin sisters and 2024 graduates of Lafayette High School, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sisters were involved in a serious automobile crash on Aug. 14. Chloe died from her injuries, while Zoe remains at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis receiving treatment.
The sheriff’s office said Chloe had planned to become a registered nurse and was pursuing her licensed practical nursing education at Northwest Community College. Zoe had planned to enter Northwest’s Emergency Medical Technology Program in 2027.
The department said it is accepting donations to help support Zoe and her family as she continues her recovery.
Donations can be made at the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office or the Lafayette County Detention Center at 711 E. Jackson Ave.
The sheriff’s office said the effort is intended to honor Chloe’s memory while supporting Zoe through her ongoing treatment and recovery.
