RIDGELAND – Community Animal Rescue & Adoption (CARA) will host a wine tasting fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 3, at Renaissance at Colony Park in Ridgeland to support its animal rescue efforts.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on The Green at Renaissance, off Highland Colony Parkway.
Attendees can sample wines from six local wine distributors and enjoy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Chaz Lindsay, owner of Pulito Osteria.
The fundraiser will also feature a wine pull, an activity CARA says has sold out in previous years. The rescue hopes to collect 100 bottles valued between $20 and $175. For $25 per pull, participants will receive a surprise bottle packaged in a bag featuring a CARA dog.
Tickets to the fundraiser are $45, and purchasers must be at least 21 years old.
CARA said tickets are limited. Additional information and tickets are available at carams.org/wine-tasting .
