BOLTON — A Bolton native and Jackson State University student has launched a Christian motivational apparel brand inspired by a biblical declaration of faith.

D’Jaydyn Readus, a 2023 graduate of Clinton High School, created All Is Well as what he describes as a “visual ministry” designed to spread faith, hope and encouragement to people facing difficult circumstances.

The brand takes its inspiration from the story of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4, who continued to declare that “all is well” despite facing a devastating situation.

“All Is Well is more than a phrase printed on a shirt,” Readus said. “It is a declaration that regardless of what we face, we can continue trusting God and believing that He is working.”

Readus is a senior business administration major at Jackson State University, as well as an author and entrepreneur. He published his first book, Prayer Time, at age 17.

Through his writing and business ventures, Readus said he hopes to encourage others through messages about faith, perseverance, self-worth and purpose.

In one of his writings, Who Am I, Readus describes himself as “the capacity to become everything I was created to be,” emphasizing his belief in potential and purpose.

“Life has a way of teaching us valuable lessons if we are brave enough to learn them in the moment. The challenge of trying to be everything to everyone is not just about showing up; it tests your mind, emotions, and body,” he said on his websited. “It stretches your soul until it trembles under the pressure. It convinces you that rest is a weakness and that self-prioritization is selfish. But that is a lie.”

His other writings explore themes including self-love, overcoming insecurity and the pressure to meet other people’s expectations.

The All Is Well shirt is made to order and is available in sizes small through 3X and in several colors.

Readus said he hopes the brand’s message will reach people across Mississippi and beyond, particularly those going through grief, uncertainty, disappointment or other challenges.
