SHANNON – A 15-year-old died after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Shannon on Saturday night, according to WTVA.
Shannon’s police chief said two juveniles were riding bicycles near Noah Curtis Street and Johnson Avenue when a vehicle struck one of them.
Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified the victim as Kameron Cannon, 15. Cannon was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:29 p.m.
The Shannon Police Department and Lee County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances of the collision.
