JACKSON – The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center will hold its monthly Veterans Food Pantry on Saturday, Sept. 19, to provide food assistance to veterans experiencing food insecurity.
The drive-thru event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. at the front entrance of the medical center’s main campus in Jackson.
The food pantry will provide both perishable and nonperishable food items.
The event is organized by the medical center’s Center for Development and Civic Engagement, formerly known as Voluntary Service.
