GULFPORT – Gulfport police are searching for a 20-year-old man wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting, according to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers.
Authorities identified the suspect as Mekel Dai John Harveston.
Crime Stoppers said Harveston is considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators described him as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. His last known address was in the Biloxi area.
Anyone with information about Harveston’s whereabouts is asked to contact Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers through the P3 Tips app or by calling **TIPS.
Authorities said information must be submitted through Crime Stoppers to qualify for a possible reward.
Harveston is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
