UTICA — The Utica Volunteer Fire Department is holding a TV raffle to raise money for the department, with tickets available through Dec. 10.
Tickets are $5 each for a chance to win an Insignia 32-inch F20 Series LED HD Smart Fire TV with an Alexa-enabled voice remote.
The fundraiser began Sept. 12 and will continue through 5 p.m. Dec. 10, giving community members several months to purchase tickets and support the volunteer department.
The department recently announced that it has already reached its initial $350 fundraising goal, thanks to ticket purchases and donations. However, organizers are continuing the raffle to raise additional funds for the department.
Proceeds will help support firefighter training, safety equipment and community education programs. The funds also help the department remain prepared to respond to fire calls, medical emergencies and disasters in the Utica community.
The department thanked those who have already purchased tickets or donated and encouraged others to participate.
Tickets cost $5 and are available through the Utica Volunteer Fire Department.
