LAFAYETTE COUNTY — An Oxford resident was arrested last week and charged with cyberstalking following an investigation by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, authorities said.
Deputies received a report of harassment on Aug. 25, according to a Tuesday news release from the sheriff’s office.
Following an investigation, authorities obtained an affidavit and arrest warrant for Hannah Nicole Cypert, 20, of Oxford, on a charge of cyberstalking.
Cypert was located in Lafayette County and taken into custody Aug. 27. She was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
Cypert appeared before a Lafayette County justice court judge Aug. 28 and was released on a $5,000 bond.
