JACKSON — A woman who was shot multiple times in Jackson on Aug. 25 has died from her injuries, police said.
Franki Ross was shot in the 900 block of Myrtlewood Drive and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Jackson Police Department was notified Thursday, Aug. 27, that Ross had died while receiving medical treatment.
Police said detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are gathering additional information.
No arrests have been announced.
