JACKSON – The Mississippi State Department of Health will host a job fair Wednesday as the agency works to fill openings in clinical, administrative and support roles.
The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Jackson Medical Mall, located at 350 W. Woodrow Wilson Avenue.
Applicants are encouraged to bring copies of their résumés. MSDH staff will be available to provide applications and answer questions about employment opportunities.
The department said its employees work in a range of areas tied to public health, including food and water safety, health care standards, health promotion and health planning.
MSDH said those operations affect Mississippians throughout their lives and are part of the agency’s broader mission to protect public health.
