OCEAN SPRINGS — Ocean Springs police are asking for the public’s help locating a man charged after authorities say he threatened to blow up a medical facility in the city.
The Ocean Springs Police Department said investigators have obtained a charge of terroristic threats against Desman Mikell in connection with the alleged threat.
According to police, Mikell is known to frequent the Ocean Springs and Hattiesburg areas.
Anyone with information about Mikell’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling **TIPS or by submitting a tip through the P3 Tips app. Police said information must be submitted through Crime Stoppers to be eligible for a reward.
Authorities did not release additional details about the alleged threat or identify the medical facility involved.
