DERMA – A 61-year-old Derma woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with the alleged fraudulent use of her parents’ credit cards and the felony abuse of a vulnerable adult.
According to Derma Police Chief Demarcus Peeples, the alleged credit card fraud occurred between January and July 2026 and involved approximately $31,000.
Tammie Tartt, who is the victims’ daughter, was arrested at a house on North Strong Street in Durham.
She faces charges of credit card fraud and felony abuse of a vulnerable adult.
