The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing man who was last seen traveling north toward Tennessee.
James Michael Wells was last seen about 2:43 a.m. June 29 on Highway 25, according to a missing-person bulletin issued by the sheriff’s office. His current whereabouts are unknown.
Wells is described as a white man who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds. He has brown hair, green eyes and a full brown beard.
He may be traveling in a tan-and-gold 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe with Mississippi license plate ACV 831.
Anyone who sees Wells or his vehicle, or has information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office at 662-423-7000 or call 911.
