JACKSON – A man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Jackson, according to Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard.
Jackson police responded to 745 W. McDowell Road at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday after a report of an unresponsive black male lying in front of a home.
Officers found the body of a man and Robbery/Homicide detectives,
The victim has not yet been identified. Jackson Police are investigating the crime. the Mobile Crime Unit Technicians, and the Hinds County Coroner were requested at the scene.
The crime scene was processed, and multiple shell casings were recovered from the scene by the Mobile Crime Unit Technician.
Currently detectives are working to identify the victim and to identify the suspect/s in this case.
