LAFAYETTE COUNTY — A Lafayette County woman has been arrested on four felony child endangerment charges after investigators said she and her four children tested positive for illegal drugs.
Investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division arrested Nydia Hudson, 28, of Oxford, following an investigation that began after authorities received documentation on July 1 indicating Hudson and her four minor children had tested positive for illegal drugs.
Based on the investigation, detectives obtained four arrest warrants charging Hudson with four counts of felony child endangerment.
Hudson was taken into custody without incident at her Lafayette County residence on July 2 and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
She later made an initial appearance in Lafayette County Justice Court, where her bond was set at $10,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
