FLOWOOD — Drivers traveling to Dogwood Mall in Flowood should expect temporary traffic changes beginning Thursday morning as paving work gets underway.
Starting at 7 a.m., the Dogwood Mall entrance at East Metro Parkway and Mackenzie Lane will be closed for paving, according to city officials. In addition, the southbound left-turn lane and northbound right-turn lane into the mall will also be closed during the project.
Motorists should use Dogwood Festival or Dogwood Avenue to access the shopping center while work is underway.
The paving project is expected to be completed by noon Friday, July 10.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area and plan for minor traffic delays.
