The Booneville Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist early Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. Wednesday on West Chambers Drive near Jim Drewery Road, according to police. A vehicle struck the bicyclist, and the driver fled the scene, police said. The bicyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
