PRENTISS COUNTY – An 18-year-old Booneville man has been charged after a report involving the inappropriate touching of a 5-year-old child, according to the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff’s department said it received the report Sunday, June 7.
As a result of the investigation, Preston Jeremiah Thomas was charged with two counts of molesting, or touching a child for lustful purposes.
Justice Court Judge Craig Bishop set Thomas’ bond at $150,000.
The case will be presented to a Prentiss County grand jury by Investigator Torie Jumper.
Investigators Aaron Stolz and Kolby Knight, along with Deputy Dennis Peeks, assisted in the investigation.
