HOLLY SPRINGS – A man has been arrested in connection with a vehicle reported stolen from the Walmart parking lot in Holly Springs.
The Holly Springs Police Department said officers responded to Walmart on Wednesday, June 24, after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle.
Following an investigation, detectives identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.
Police said 29-year-old Tommy Byrd Jr., of Olive Branch, was arrested Thursday, June 25, 2026. He was charged with felony larceny-auto theft.
Byrd was taken to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, where he was processed and held pending bond.
The Holly Springs Police Department thanked the community for working with officers to help bring the investigation to a successful conclusion.
