Jayden V. Cayou is still wanted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.ADAMS COUNTY — One man has been arrested, a second suspect is awaiting transfer from state prison and a third remains at large in connection with the homicide of Sincyr Miller, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s officials announced that Jadarius R. Moore has been arrested and formally charged with murder.
Authorities said Jalin L. Johnson is currently in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Investigators are seeking a judge’s order to have Johnson transported to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, where he will be served with a warrant and formally booked on a murder charge.
A third suspect, Jayden V. Cayou, remains at large and is wanted on a charge of murder.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on Cayou’s whereabouts to call 911 or the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 601-442-2752. Anonymous tips may also be submitted to Southwest Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 1-888-442-5001.
Authorities warned the public not to attempt to confront or apprehend Cayou and said anyone found harboring or assisting him in avoiding arrest could face criminal charges.
Sheriff Travis Patten said investigators remain committed to bringing all those charged in the case into custody.
“This remains an active investigation, and additional information may be released as it becomes available,” the sheriff’s office said.
