RANKIN COUNTY – The Mississippi Department of Corrections will celebrate the grand opening of a new barber school at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility on Wednesday.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. June 17 and will include inmates, staff and special guests.
According to MDOC, the grand opening will be livestreamed on the department’s Facebook page.
Officials said the public is invited to watch and celebrate the opening online.
